Jan - Centre Coordinator

Jan is the centre coordinator and heads a committed team of staff at Wingate.  She has been involved at the centre for over six years but has managed the centre since 2004.  Jan has a financial background and has many years experience working in the community sector.  She has a passion for bringing about change and building a stronger community by addressing the needs in Ascot Vale.

Kelly - Community Development Worker

Kelly is the community development worker at Wingate Avenue Community Centre and has been working at the Centre since November 2006.  As time passes she is inspired by the commitment and social justice values that are played out in various ways. She has been working closely with local residents to find out what strengths and needs exist in the community so Wingate can continue to provide programs and activities which are reflective of Ascot Vale and surrounding suburbs. She is passionate about working with the community to create positive change and her door is always open to the community.

Jennifer - Administration Manager

Jennifer can be found at the Centre on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Jennifer oversees the overall administration of the Centre.  Jennifer has been at the Centre for 5 years and manages the Adult Migrant English Program, the running of front reception, manages trainees and creates streamlined approaches to existing procedures.  The staff enjoys her endless patience and humour she brings to the office.

Tracy - Programs Coordinator

Tracy is our program's coordinator.  Tracy is here Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  She has been pro-active in establishing programs for the community's general health and wellbeing and educational programs.  She has a background in music therapy and has worked in the community sector for many years.
