Computer CoursesACFE (Adult & Community Further Education) funded courses Computer for Beginners This course will allow beginners to gain basic skills in Windows, Word and the Internet.
Intermediate Computers: PowerPoint This course follows on from Computer for Beginners. Learn different ways to search the internet for information adn images and save into folders or insert into documents. Powerpoint is a presentation package which allows you to create your own slide show for work or fun. Intermediate Computers: Internet & Email This class is ideal for those who have completed a beginners class and wanting to extend their skills in Internet, Email, & Word. Refine your searches, explore popular sites, send multiple emails, create your own address book and build up your skills in word to create an attractive documents. Intermediate Computers: Excel & Publisher This course follows on from the beginners class. Extend & improve your skills in the Internet, Email, inserting attachments and objects. Also learn the intermediate skills of Excel and Publisher.
Advanced Computers: Microsoft Office Gain an in-depth introduction to the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
MYOB (version 18) Learn to effectively utilize MYOB, a computerised accounting system for home based business or office use. This program will teach you to perform day to day business functions in and set up and manage a small business payroll. Bookkeeping experience and experience with computers essential.
Short CoursesDigital Camera – Beginners (daytime and evening course) Learn the basic functions of Microsoft Digital Image, such as downloading, cropping, lightening and saving photos from your camera.
Movie Maker – Beginners Create a slide show using Microsoft Movie Maker using images from your camera or the Internet.
Art & CraftSewing and Dressmaking Beginners or experienced sewers will learn new sewing techniques for women’s clothing and draft their own patterns.
Patchwork Learn how to make your own creative patchwork.
Mosaic Course (evening classes) Learn how to design and construct a unique mosaic tabletop, garden pavers, birdbaths, etc.
Drop in Art Group Develop your creative side in drawing, painting (oil, watercolour, acrylic or collage).
